Notice regarding restrictions on use of certain facilities, relocations, and changes to store opening hours

NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo) are carrying out renovation work on the aging stairs, escalators, and roof of the CA Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway (hereinafter "Aqua-Line") Umihotaru Parking Area (hereinafter "PA"). The work will be carried out over a long period until the spring of 2027, and will be carried out in stages, switching construction locations.
Due to the construction, there will be changes to the large parking lot on the 1st floor of Umihotaru PA (In-bound August 2025.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Tuesday, April 8, 2020 - Late August 2020

• The period may vary depending on the construction situation.
• We will notify you separately regarding construction plans etc. after September 2025.

2. Scope of impact

1. In the large car park on the first floor (In-bound lane), the unavailable areas of some of the parking spaces will be expanded during weekday nights (22:00 - 7:00 the following morning).
   • If the In-bound side is full, we will direct you to the large parking lot on Out-bound side.
2. The bus stop and motorcycle parking space have been relocated.
3. The stairs from the 3rd to 4th floors will be unavailable all day.
   The escalators between the 3rd and 4th floors are unavailable during weekday nights (22:00 - 7:00 the following morning).
   • Please use the elevator or indoor stairs.
4. The opening hours of some stores on the 5th floor have changed.

(1) In the large parking lot on the first floor (In-bound lane), the unavailable areas of some parking spaces will be expanded during weekday nights (22:00 - 7:00 the following morning).

1. Some parking spaces (indicated in yellow) will be unavailable until late January 2026.
2. From around early April 2025 to around late August 2025, some of the parking spaces (red framed area) will be unavailable during weekday evenings (22:00 to 7:00 the following morning).

• Please note that this is a different route from the normal route.
• If the large parking lot on In-bound lanes is full, we will direct you to the large parking lot on Out-bound lanes.
  In that case, please follow the instructions of the guides.
• The timing of the restrictions may change depending on the progress of construction work.

(2) The bus stop and motorcycle parking space have been relocated.

The escalators from the 3rd to 4th floors are unavailable during weekday nights (22:00 to 7:00 the following morning).

3. Overview of the renovation work

At Umihotaru PA, the aging stairs, escalators, and roof will be completely renovated.
The roof will have a membrane roof structure, transforming the space into one with an open feel.
