Currently, real-time road traffic information can be viewed at highway information terminals at rest facilities.
Meanwhile, "Drive Traffic (DraTra)" allows users to check real-time road traffic information, congestion forecasts, construction restrictions, and the expected lifting of road closures due to accidents from their smartphones. It is also available in five languages, including Japanese. ^*1
Therefore, in order to centralize information dissemination on the highly convenient "DraTra," we will be gradually suspending operation of highway information terminals at some of the rest facilities within our jurisdiction from June 2025.
Please feel free to use "DraTra" in rest facilities as well.

How to obtain road traffic information at rest facilities that are out of operation

The "DraTra" 2D code will be posted on posters etc. Please read it with your smartphone etc. and check the road traffic information.
Please refrain from operating a smartphone while driving as it is extremely dangerous.
