NEXCO EAST Kazo Management Office (Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture) will be carrying out construction work to install double-linked truck parking stalls on the Out-bound lanes of the Tohoku Expressway Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") on the E4 Tohoku Expressway Ken-o Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Ken-O Road"), and on the inner and outer loops of the Shobu PA on the C4 Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Ken-O Expressway").
During the construction period, we will be restricting the use of some parking lots, which will cause inconvenience to our customers, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

1. Parking lot usage restrictions and dates and times

   E4 Tohoku Expressway Hanyu PA (Out-bound)
   C4 Ken-O Road Shobu PA (inner and outer loop)
   • All facilities, including restrooms and commercial facilities, will be available as usual.



• Attached to each line E4 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
2. Date and time:

• The construction period may change depending on the progress of the construction.

2. Overview of parking lot usage restrictions

As part of the construction work, temporary fencing will be installed around the construction site, making some parking spaces unusable.
Please follow local signs and other directions when driving within the parking lot.

① Tohoku Expressway Hanyu PA (Out-bound)

Due to construction work, one large vehicle parking space and three trailer parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable. Please consider using the temporary trailer parking area or a nearby service area (hereinafter referred to as "SA") or PA.

Partial restrictions on the use of large vehicle parking spaces and trailer parking spaces will be implemented according to the following schedule.
Please note that construction work within the parking lot will be carried out from Monday, October 6, 2025 to Friday, January 30, 2026, including a period of partial parking restriction.

②Ken Ken-O Road Shobu PA (inner and outer loop)

Due to construction work, one trailer parking space will be unavailable on both the inner and outer loops.

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway At Hanyu PA (Out-bound line) and Ken-O Road Shobu PA (inside/outside), double-connected truck parking cells will be installed to ensure rest opportunities for drivers, based on the needs of logistics businesses and other factors.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this construction is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

4. Nearby rest facilities

Due to the construction work, there will be some restrictions on the use of the parking lot, but all facilities, including restrooms and commercial facilities, will remain available as usual. As the parking lot is expected to be crowded due to the restrictions, please consider using nearby service areas and parking areas.

5. How to obtain information about Expressway

(1) Information provided through handouts

• Flyers will be distributed at nearby toll booths and rest areas.

(2) Road traffic information that can be obtained before going out
