Due to system maintenance on toll collection machines, it will take a considerable amount of time to make credit card payments in the general lanes at all 134 toll gates in Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, and Fukushima Regional Head Office managed by NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch (Miyagino Ward, Sendai City) and seven toll gates managed by Aomori Prefectural Road Corporation and Miyagi Prefectural Road Corporation.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask that you please allow yourself plenty of time when you go out. If you are in a hurry, we ask that you please have cash or an ETC card ready.

How to pay Expressway tolls

Customers paying by cash or ETC card

The system maintenance will not affect your access to the site. You can continue to use the site as usual.

Customers paying by credit card

It will take considerably longer than usual. If you are in a hurry, please pay by cash or ETC card.

1. When using the general lane (manned)
   Please hand over your pass ^* and credit card to the attendant.
   • A pass is not required on routes where tickets are not issued.
2. When using the general lane (toll payment machine)
   Press the call button and tell the attendant that you would like to use a credit card. The attendant will then guide you through the procedure.
