On Wednesday, June 3rd, Typhoon No. 6 made landfall on Honshu, bringing record-breaking heavy rain to various parts of the country.
Every year, during the rainy season and typhoon season, localized heavy rains and torrential downpours are observed in various regions, resulting in numerous disasters such as sudden increases in river levels and flooding, inland flooding, landslides, mudslides, and other landslides.

The road closure will be lifted once safety has been confirmed.
The rainfall so far has loosened the ground, increasing the risk of landslides. Therefore, after the rain has settled for a certain period of time, we will carry out inspections and work (restoration and cleaning), and once safety has been confirmed, the road closure will be lifted.
