A feature of East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. within the jurisdiction of the year-end and New Year holidays is that it is predicted that there will be a lot of traffic congestion on January 2 (Mon) and 3 (Tue) due to U-turns when returning home. In particular, on the In-bound side of Kan-Etsu Expressway, a large 25km traffic jam is predicted.

Even on the Out-bound side, a maximum of 20km of traffic is predicted.

As we have already announced, we Tohoku Expressway Tsugaru SA Out-bound Line gas station on September 30th and the Kan-Etsu Expressway Shiozawa Ishiuchi Service Area (SA) Out-bound gas station on November 30th.
We ask our customers to refuel at the front SA (Tohoku Expressway: Hanawa SA, Kan-Etsu Expressway: Kamisato SA or Akagi Kogen SA).
