February 26, 2007
East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shigejiro Yagi) set the maximum price (*) of petroleum products such as gasoline sold at gas stations on Expressway on Saturday, March 17, 2007 0 It will be revised once a week from time to time.

In addition to our company, revisions on a weekly basis will be made simultaneously for Central Japan Expressway Co., Ltd. and West Japan Expressway Co., Ltd.

[Changes at the time of revision]
The maximum price will be revised once a week and every Saturday at midnight. This revision will be implemented from Saturday, March 17, 2007.

The Agency for Natural Resources and Energy is investigating the market prices of petroleum products as of every Monday as a “fuel station market trend survey for petroleum products”. The result is the website of the Japan Energy Economics Research Institute Petroleum Information Center (http://oil-info.ieej.or.jp/) Will be announced on Wednesday. We will revise the maximum price based on the published survey results and apply the maximum price from 00:00 on Saturday to 24:00 on Friday of the next week.

[Reason for revision time]
Currently, the maximum price of petroleum products such as gasoline at gas stations on Expressway is the national average price of the survey results of Week 3 or Week 4 of the “Gas Station Petroleum Product Market Week Trend Survey”, and once a month ( Although it was revised on the 1st of the following month, the difference from the actual price in the general market may become large during the period when the price of petroleum products fluctuates greatly. In the future, the revision time will be changed to once a week (every Saturday) in order to promptly reflect changes in market conditions.

(*) Since there are only a limited number of gas stations on Expressway, there is virtually no room to select a gas station. Therefore, we have set the upper limit price of the selling price so that the sales person does not sell the gasoline etc. at an inappropriate price and the customer is not disadvantaged as a result.
