1 Traffic volume (breaking news)
- On Saturday, March 21st, the weather was generally blessed and the pattern of the Friday (holiday) on the 20th was reported in the media, etc., and the traffic volume exceeded 50,000 vehicles/day. There was an average use.
- However, the next day, there was a suspension of traffic due to strong winds for about 3 hours, so it is used less.

2 Traffic congestion

3 Results of Customer Questionnaire Survey at Umihotaru PA
On March 20, the discount start date, we conducted a questionnaire survey to customers regarding discounts on Expressway at Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru PA. 102 people cooperated.
- Almost everyone was aware of discounts on Expressway in rural areas from Saturday, March 28 (up to 1,000 yen for holidays).
- Most of the people knew that the Aqualine will be the first to get a discount (1,000 yen for holidays) from March 20th (Friday/holiday).
- Most of the people also wanted to increase the use of Expressway due to the start of discounts.

- (3) 5 people (5%) said, "Umihotaru PA only" because the aqua line costs 1,000 yen
- (4) Most people willing to use the Expressway if they get a discount (90%)
- I think the use of Expressway will increase considerably for holiday leisure once the discount starts
- If you get a discount, it will be easier to stretch your legs, so I want to go a little further and see
- You don't have to pay 1,000 yen, so I want you to always get a discount
- I want you to continue not only for 2 years

1. Umihotaru PA Sales Status
- Umihotaru PA sales (according to Tokyo Bay Transit Road Co., Ltd.) increased by 12% compared to the same period last year.
- On March 21 (Saturday), when there was a lot of traffic, it was approximately 40% higher than the previous year.(Compared for the same period last year: March 22 (Sat)-23 (Sun) this year: March 20 (Fri/holiday)-22 (Sun) based on daily sales)

2. Survey results of tourist facilities in Chiba prefecture
We conducted a questionnaire survey on the number of customers entering tourist and leisure facilities in Chiba Prefecture before and after the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Discount from March 20.
- Partly because we had three consecutive holidays compared to last year, half of the respondents answered that the number of customers is increasing.
- At some facilities, the number of customers doubled.
- It seems that many facilities are expecting further discounts in the future.
