- About maintenance of extension section of Sendaibu Sendai-Hokubu Road (between Rifu Shirakashidai and Tomiya)

Sendai-Hokubu Road (between Rifu Shirakashidai and Tomiya, the country is currently in operation) is Sendai-Hokubu Road, which is currently managed by NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shigejiro Yagi). This is an extension section (between Rifu JCT and Rifu Shirakashidai) that connects to Tohoku Expressway and National Route 4.
This time, this section has been added to the Expressway belonging to the national route network by the Japan Expressway Holding and Debt Repayment Agency.
In response to this, NEXCO EAST will proceed with the necessary procedures such as changing the agreement in order to improve the section as a toll road by the merger with the national government.
