About year-end and new year Expressway toll discounts
Regarding the toll discount for the year-end and New Year Expressway, we will invite opinions from 10th to 19th November and carry out as follows.
- Considering the impact on logistics, we will be working on December 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun) so that traffic will not be concentrated. Apply weekday discount To do. Holiday discounts (such as special holiday discounts) are not applicable.
- On January 4th (Monday) and 5th (Tuesday), since the traffic concentrated on January 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd (Sunday) is dispersed, Holiday discounts Apply Also, in consideration of logistics, regarding medium-sized vehicles, large vehicles, and oversized vehicles, Weekday discount Also applies.
2 Concerning Expressway traffic congestion predictions and measures during the year-end and New Year [national version]
- We predict that there will be a lot of long traffic jams everywhere on January 2nd and 3rd of the year, but on the 4th and 5th, we will expect relatively little traffic jams. Customers are requested to use the 4th and 5th days (distributed use) when the new holiday discount is applied.
- Based on this traffic congestion forecast and the traffic congestion period (GW, Obon etc.) so far, we plan to implement congestion countermeasures during the period when we are forecasting particularly heavy congestion.
