NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), in the service area (SA) and parking area (PA), there are various revitalization efforts under the slogan "HEARTLINK NIPPON-Tsunago, Kokoro. We are making efforts.

NEXCO EAST will support the Tohoku Rokutama Festival 2012, where the six major festivals of the Tohoku region will be held together again this year.

On the day of the event, we will exhibit our booth at Morioka Castle Ruins Park.

At the booth, the talent Maggie Judge (from Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture) will introduce the support messages for the disaster areas collected from various parts of East Japan by "ear car".

In addition, fried chicken and flank served with a special sauce developed by a famous chef of "Superman Chef Club", "Michinoku Rokuken Man" (meat bun) etc. that was popular at our SA/PA last season. We will sell it and donate a part of the proceeds as a donation for the Great East Japan Earthquake.

"Ear Car" is a car with huge ears (maximum width 140 cm height 210 cm 3D modeling) with built-in IC recorder. Since March, we have been gathering support messages and voices from the disaster area while visiting SA/PA. This time, we would like to convey the messages of everyone gathered so far to the "Tohoku Rokutama Festival" venue.

Masaharu Nakajima (Japanese cuisine)

The owner chef of "Shinjuku Restaurant Nakajima". Born in 1956. My grandfather is the first chef of "Hoshioka Saryo", headed by Kitaoji Rozan. After training in Kyoto, he inherited his father's mark and became the second owner of "Shinjuku Kappo Nakajima" in 1980.
He has received numerous awards including master craftsmen from Edo. In 2005, at the event of Japan-EU citizen exchange and the 50th anniversary of Japan-Italy cultural exchange, a ceremony and a workshop will be held in Rome.
