NEXCO EAST / NEXCO CENTRAL / NEXCO WEST /JB Motoshi Expressway/Japan Road Traffic Information Center is during the Golden Week period [Friday, April 26, 2013-2013] 11th May 6th (Monday)] At Expressway, we summarized traffic congestion prediction and countermeasures due to traffic concentration.
1 Request for distributed use
- Golden week traffic is Out-bound From Friday, May 3 to Saturday, May 4 And the In-bound line is May 4th (Sat) to 5th (Sun) It is predicted that there will be a lot of traffic congestion at 10 km or more during peak hours (see the figure below).
Please avoid using traffic congestion by shifting your departure time before and after the expected peak time of traffic congestion. - This traffic congestion forecast is based on the past traffic conditions such as Golden Week, Obon, and traffic congestion during the year-end and New Year holidays.
