NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and Nex-area Company Limited (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will open a new commercial facility at the Shikura Parking Area (PA) on Out-bound lane of the E6 Joban Expressway at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 3rd.
The Shikura PA (Out-bound line) has been used as a PA without commercial facilities since its installation in 2002, but now it is a new commercial facility to improve service and convenience for customers. It was

- Opened a new commercial facility (restaurant, merchandise) in a PA that had no commercial facility for 15 years since its installation
- On the Joban Expressway (Out-bound line) before and after this PA, the distance between commercial facilities of 107km (Sekimoto PA → Minamisoma Kashima SA) was shortened to 35km (Sekimoto PA → this PA) · 72km (This PA → Minamisoma Bakashima SA)
- The recommended menu is the sashimi set meal, which includes fresh seasonal sashimi.
- Installed walk-in gates that can be used as commercial facilities from public roads
Our restaurant is located close to the sea, so you can enjoy a meal that is blessed with seafood. The recommended sashimi set meal is a menu where you can enjoy the fresh seasonal sashimi caught off the coast of Joban. We also have a selection of souvenirs from the region, and we look forward to your visit.

Installation of walk-in gate
A "walk-in gate" will be installed at the Shikura PA (Out-bound line).
Until now, we have set up customer entrances from ordinary roads in order so that we can stop by and visit the surrounding area casually, but this time we have nicknamed the entrance to NEXCO EAST in "walk-in gate" I named it. We are waiting for use of surrounding area.

The "P", which represents the parking area of the service area/parking area (SA/PA), is used to express the "gate" that welcomes visitors who "walk".
