NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) summarizes the traffic conditions during the year-end and New Year period of Reiwa 3 [Tuesday, December 28, 3rd year of Reiwa-Tuesday, January 4, 4th year of Reiwa: 8 days] I will inform you.

Average daily traffic volume decreased to 89% compared to the same period two years ago (up 135% compared to last year).
The number of traffic jams over 10km was 51, a decrease of 89% compared to the same period two years ago (up 364% compared to last year).
The number of traffic jams over 30km was 4 times, a decrease of 80% compared to the same period two years ago (0 times last year).
