NEXCO東日本（東京都千代田区）とREALITY XR cloud株式会社（東京都港区）は、スマートフォン向けメタバース「REALITY」アプリ上で、メタバースでは初となる高速道路空間「NEXCO東日本 ハイウェイワールド」を11月1日（水）～11月30日（木）までの1か月間、期間限定でオープンします。
また、これを記念して、海ほたるPA（パーキングエリア）をはじめとする関東近郊のSA（サービスエリア）・PAで、現地イベントを開催します。
1. About “NEXCO EAST Highway World”
「NEXCO東日本 ハイウェイワールド」とは、スマートフォン向けメタバース「REALITY」アプリ上に、バーチャルならではの仕掛けを加えて高速道路空間を再現したものです。ワールド内では、仮想高速道路のドライブや、自分のアバターを使って「Highway Walker」表紙モデルになりきる「なりきりHighway Walker」など様々な仕掛けを体験できます。バーチャル体験を通じて、高速道路での思い出をライブ配信などで語り合う場所にすると同時に、車の運転や高速道路に馴染みのない方にも、高速道路を知っていただくきっかけになることを期待しています。

2. “NEXCO EAST x REALITY” local event
メタバース上に高速道路が初登場したことを記念して、現地イベントを開催します。「REALITY」アプリ内で選ばれた人気配信者が現地イベントのアンバサダーとして就任し、アバターの姿でイベントを盛り上げます。
