A policy has just been announced, including reviewing the balance between holidays and weekdays.

　また、休日割引については、2022年度以降、交通混雑期等における交通分散の観点などから、ゴールデンウイーク、お盆および年末年始は全国を対象として適用していませんが、この方針に基づき検討した結果を踏まえ、2024年度以降は、新たにシルバーウイーク（9月の3連休等）についても適用しないこととします（具体的な除外日は別紙【PDF：463KB】をご参照ください）。
　なお、その他の3連休等においても交通混雑が見られることから、今後の高速道路の利用状況等を踏まえながら、2025年度以降も引き続き、3連休等の休日割引の見直しを国土交通省と検討してまいります。
