- Traffic situation on highway in Bon Festival (preliminary report) 【NEXCO EAST Edition】

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has summarized the traffic situation during the Bon vacation period [2024 August 8 (Thu.) to August 18 (Sun.): 11 days].
- Average daily traffic volume was 102% compared to the same period last year.
- The number of traffic jams longer than 10km was 135, an increase of 30 from the same period last year.
- The number of traffic jams over 30km long was 10, an increase of three from the same period last year.
- The longest traffic jam length was 46.9 km, recorded at 10:35 on Sunday, August 11, starting near Hanazono IC on the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (Out-bound).
