East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited, and West Nippon Expressway Company Limited are taking various steps to improve the convenience of their rest facilities in accordance with the "Development Policy for Improving Convenience at Expressway SA/PAs *1."
We would like to inform you that we have compiled a summary of the expansion results of large vehicle parking spaces in fiscal 2024, plans for expansion in fiscal 2025, and other initiatives.

1. Initiatives to improve the convenience of rest facilities

By changing the layout within existing areas and adding multi-purpose spaces that can be used by both large and small vehicles, we completed an expansion of large vehicle parking spaces by approximately 480 *2 at 26 service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA) nationwide in fiscal 2024.
In fiscal year 2025, we plan to increase the number of large vehicle parking spaces by approximately 510 *2 at 23 SAs and PAs nationwide. In addition, we will also promote initiatives to improve the convenience of rest facilities by considering the needs of users.

(1) Expansion of parking spaces

(2) Providing reliable parking opportunities

  • Installation of short-term parking spaces for large vehicles (25 spaces completed by FY2024, with plans to Large 35 spaces in FY2025)
    • - Promote development of major roads connecting designated cities, which is expected to provide more opportunities for resting

(4) Improving logistics efficiency and working conditions

2. Parking etiquette

SA and PA are spaces that can be used equally by all Expressway users. Parking spaces are divided according to vehicle type and size into categories such as "standard vehicles," "large vehicles," "standard and large vehicles combined," "trailers," "bus priority (exclusive)," and "disabled parking." Please be considerate and considerate to others and use the rest facilities appropriately so that more vehicles can use them.
