- Expressway traffic conditions during the Golden Week period (preliminary report) [NEXCO EAST]

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has compiled traffic conditions for the Golden Week period [Friday, April 25th, 2025 to Tuesday, May 6th, 2025: 12 days] and would like to inform you of the results.
- Average daily traffic volume was 97% compared to the same period last year.
- The number of traffic jams of 10km or more occurred at 111, a decrease of 18 from the same period last year.
- The number of traffic jams of 30km or more occurred 11 times, one more than the same period last year.
- The longest traffic jam length was 60.0 km at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, May 5th, starting near Iwatsuki IC on the E4 Tohoku Expressway (In-bound).
