About the 2025 In-Vehicle Device Purchase Subsidy Campaign

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) is pleased to announce that it will be implementing the "NEXCO EAST In-Vehicle Unit Purchase Subsidy Campaign 2025," which will provide subsidies of up to 10,000 yen per eligible vehicle for the installation costs of on-board units, with the aim of promoting the spread of ETC.

1. Campaign target audience

Those who applied based on the application method at a campaign handling store during the campaign period and purchased, set up, and installed a new ETC or ETC2.0 onboard device.

2. Campaign period

Monday, August 18, 2025 (Reiwa 7) - until the number of units granted is reached
The program will run until Friday, November 28, 2025 (Reiwa 7) at the latest.
Vehicle unit must be purchased, set up, and installed during the campaign period.

3． Number of subsidized units

50,000 units

Four. Target area

Hokkaido, Aomori Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Akita Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture

• Stores participating in the campaign will be added one after another and will be announced on the special campaign website.

Five. Grant amount

Up to 10,000 yen per unit (subsidies will be provided for the vehicle unit itself, setup, and installation costs.)

6. Grant eligibility requirements

• Those who newly install ETC or ETC2.0 onboard equipment are eligible for the subsidy.
• Replacement of ETC on-board equipment is not eligible for subsidy.
• New four-wheeled vehicles are not eligible for the subsidy (vehicles that are eligible for the subsidy must be more than four months old since the date of first registration (date of first inspection) on the vehicle inspection certificate at the time of applying for the campaign).
• New motorcycles are eligible for the subsidy.
• Only in-vehicle devices that comply with the new security standards will be eligible for the subsidy.
• The subsidy is available to those who purchase, set up, and install the product at a campaign-affiliated store in the target area.
• Applications after purchase, setup, or installation are not eligible for the subsidy.
• Vehicles that have received subsidies for purchasing other ETC on-board devices are not eligible for subsidies.

7. How to apply

Please fill out the necessary information on the "Subsidy Application Form" at a store participating in the campaign, and then purchase, set up, and install a new car unit.
