NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has compiled traffic conditions for the Obon period (Thursday, August 7, 2025 to Sunday, August 17, 2025: 11 days), and would like to inform you of this.

  • The average daily traffic volume was 103% compared to the same period last year.
  • The number of traffic jams of 10km or more was 114, a decrease of 21 compared to the same period last year.
  • ​There were 10 traffic jams of over 30km, the same as the same period last year.
  • The longest traffic jam length was 47.1 km at 5:15 pm on Monday, August 11th, starting near Kawagoe IC on the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (In-bound).
