NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and Greex Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) will be opening "NEXCO EAST Highway World 2026 Winter," a recreation Expressway space in the metaverse on the smartphone metaverse app "REALITY," for a limited time from Wednesday, February 4th to Wednesday, March 4th, for one month.

As part of this initiative, the world will be transformed into a winter setting, allowing players to experience the feeling of driving on a virtual Expressway in the snow, as well as view information about driving on winter Expressway and special offers.
In the fantastical atmosphere of the virtual space, visitors will be able to visit Expressway space with their own avatars and talk about their memories. We also hope that this will be an opportunity for people who are unfamiliar with driving cars and Expressway to learn tips for driving in the snow and about Expressway.

NEXCO EAST held its first "NEXCO EAST Highway World" in November 2023, attracting over 2 million visitors, primarily young people, which helped promote Expressway usage and raise awareness of our company. Aiming to create and promote even more experiential value, the event was held again as a winter-themed Expressway space.

2. About "NEXCO EAST Highway World"

At "NEXCO EAST Highway World," visitors can experience the feeling of driving on Expressway and experience the various features found at the service areas (SA) within the world. This initiative is being carried out as a co-creation project with Greex, Inc. at the "DraPla Innovation Lab," which aims to solve Expressway issues and create new value.
