NEXCO EAST NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and NEXCO East Japan Area Tract Corporation (Minato-ku, Tokyo), in cooperation with Shobunsha Co. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and Shobunsha Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will launch a new website, "Highway Mapuru," on Monday, April 20, 2012.

We've made it easy for all customers using Expressway from families going on outings and first-time long-distance drives to professional drivers supporting logistics—to access information tailored to their purpose and situation.

New website "Highway Mapple"

Highway Mapple collaborates with Shobunsha, the company behind the "Mapple" brand, which began with the road atlas "Mapple" in 1984 and "Mapple Magazine" in 1989. By leveraging Shobunsha's long-cultivated expertise in map and travel guide editing, and NEXCO EAST 's knowledge of service areas and parking areas, we deliver high-quality information useful for planning trips and considering stops along the way.

In addition, the "Highway Mapple SA/PA Guide Map," which includes maps of the East Japan area and operating information for service areas (SAs) and parking areas (PAs), will be distributed at SAs and PAs from mid-April. The guide map is designed with the concept of being "easy to see and easy to understand," and features a compact yet informative layout to improve customer convenience.

Highlights of the new website "Highway Mapple"

We will be releasing a wide range of content to meet various needs, including the latest news, notable events, souvenirs, and gourmet information related to service areas and parking areas, as well as seasonal recommended driving routes and driving guides to help even novice drivers enjoy driving on Expressway with peace of mind.
The content can be searched from various perspectives, such as area, theme, and keyword, allowing you to easily access information that meets your needs. We support more convenient and comfortable information gathering before your drive.

Highlights of the "Highway Mapple SA/PA Guide Map"

The guide map includes a map of the East Japan area and information on service areas (SAs) and parking areas (PAs). The map includes Expressway information as well as information on tourist attractions, making it useful for planning your trip. The SA/PA facility information includes details on the services offered, opening hours of each store, and distances to the next SA/PA with operating facilities, making it helpful for planning your visits. When unfolded, the map and SA/PA facility information can be viewed simultaneously, providing a highly visible layout while offering a wealth of information.
