NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku, Regional Head Office president: Yuki Yamamoto) is the first Ikeda Main Line toll gate ETC lane between the Doto Expressway Tomamu Interchange (IC) and Honbetsu IC / Ashoro IC, March 2009 We will inform you that the operation will start on Tuesday, March 31st.
In commemoration of the start of ETC operation this time, we will carry out a campaign to offer on-board equipment at a low price by joining with our affiliated credit card "E-NEXCO pass" at the same time.
1 Start of operation of ETC lane

On that day, the operation start ceremony will be held locally.

2 lanes (1 lane each for the vertical lines)
- ETC maintenance between Tomamu IC and Ikeda IC other than the Ikeda Main Line tollgate will be provided at all tollgates when the Shimukappu IC (tentative name) to Tomamu IC is opened in FY2009.
2 Implementation of safety (speed control) measures
At all toll gate ETC lanes at NEXCO EAST, measures are being implemented in order to delay the operation of the ETC opening/closing bar from the current level in order to ensure customer safety when passing through the lane.
At the Ikeda Main Line tollgate, we will implement speed control measures by delaying the ETC opening/closing bar.

If the approach speed to the ETC lane exceeds 20 km/h, it may collide with the ETC opening/closing bar.
Please keep a sufficient distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, enter and drive at a safe speed below 20 km/h, and make sure that the ETC opening/closing bar is open before you drive.
