NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City), as a new development of the customer participation type traffic safety awareness campaign "Smile Highway Declaration" that has been implemented since 2013, we feel closer to customers about traffic safety. We would like to inform you that we have newly set "Smile Highway Ambassador" with the aim of always being aware of safe driving, and "Oklahoma" has been appointed as the first Ambassador.
In addition, we are pleased to inform you that we have started recruiting for the 8th Smile Highway Kawayanagi, which is looking for a road safety-related senryu.
1 Oklahoma Inaugurated as Smile Highway Ambassador!
The comedy duo Oklahoma has been appointed as the first "Smile Highway Ambassador"!
Oklahoma has decided to appear in posters, pamphlets, and radio advertisements for the "Smile Highway Declaration" distributed at rest facilities. We also plan to participate in various events in the future, so please look forward to it.
What is "Smile Highway Declaration"?
This is a traffic safety awareness campaign that has been carried out by customers since 2013. The purpose of this is to encourage customers to sympathize with safe driving by declaring safe driving at customers at events and other events.
Furthermore, the declarations we receive are transmitted on our website and on the radio to further expand our road safety circle.
What is "Oklahoma"?
A comedy duo that celebrated its 17th anniversary. Belongs to Creative Office Queue. Served as a regular in HTB "Ichishi!", "Ishishi! Morning", "Onigiri Warm Up?", etc., and is currently appearing in variety and information programs.

2 Looking for the 8th Smile Highway Kawayanagi!
We are now accepting applications for the "Smile Highway Kawayanagi" contest related to traffic safety on August 1, 2016.
The "Smile Highway Kawayanagi" has been held since 2013, and this is the 8th recruitment.
The prize-winning works will be posted on our "Smile Highway Declaration" website, as well as on SAPA of Expressway, banners on the main line, NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office Twitter account (and so on. Widely published in 2015. A total of 4,446 phrases were submitted, and 3 prizes were selected for each time, and 1 phrase was selected as the best prize of the year. Will also be presented with some wonderful Hokkaido products, so please feel free to apply.
