NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu Ward) and Nex-area Company Limited Sapporo Branch (Sapporo City Atsubetsu Ward) held the “Donburi Championship Championship! Hokkaido Block Tournament” on December 12th (Monday) , "Golden pork bowl" of "Usuyama SA on the Do-O Expressway (In-bound line to Hakodate)" won the highest award.

Judging was conducted by Noboru Ishii and 5 other judges on the Jozankei Daiichibotei Rusuchokan. Among the nine menus that went on sale from November 1, the customer's "local voting" and "Internet survey" The 7 menus selected in “” were subject to the tasting examination.

The theme of this contest is "Premium bowl using local ingredients only in that area-a cup you want to eat for that person-", aiming to create a unique and attractive store that takes advantage of the characteristics and features of the region. It is held as a part of "flower making". The highest award donburi "Golden pork bowl" will compete in the final competition held in Tokyo next March 23, aiming for the grand prix.

The menus entered in the contest are currently being offered by each SA/PA, so be sure to try them out when you drop in!

As a representative of Hokkaido Block, I am very pleased that the menus devised by all the employees will be able to participate in the final competition of the Donburi Championship Championship.
Usuyama SA participated in the second final tournament. I will do my best so that I can achieve better results than last time.
