1 Ferry special discount fare implementation period

2 Target vehicles

Vehicles that are classified as "light vehicles" or "normal vehicles" on the Expressway run by ETC wireless communication

3 How to use the special ferry discount fares

5 Requirements for "Ferry Special Discount Fares"

There are usage requirements for using the same ferry route for round trips and for using different ferry routes for round trips.

The "Ferry Limited Plan" is not available for special ferry discount fares only on the return trip. With the "Summer Toku Plan" and "Loose Plan", you can use the special ferry discount fares only on the return trip.

6 About Hokkaido Tourism Free Pass

"Hokkaido sightseeing Free Pass" is a commodity that all freeways within Hokkaido will be free to get on and off at the fixed price for ETC vehicles (announced on 7th March, 2018).

This plan is limited to customers who travel to Hokkaido by ferry from Honshu at a special ferry discount during the implementation period of each ferry operator.

The condition is that you need to use the special ferry discount fares for a round trip (Honshu → Hokkaido, Hokkaido → Honshu) or an outbound trip (Honshu → Hokkaido). If you are using the special ferry discount fares only on the return trip (Hokkaido to Honshu), you cannot use the "Ferry Limited Plan".
