NEXCO EAST Tomakomai Management Office (Tomakomai City) cooperates with Noboribetsu City, Noboribetsu International Tourism and Convention Association, Noboribetsu City Union Neighborhood Association, E5 Do-O Expressway (Dōhō-do) Noboribetsu East Interchange (IC) and flower bed of Noboribetsu Onsen symbol "Welcome Ogre Statue" will be planted.

Towards Golden Week, we will plant more than 1,700 flowers at the two gateways of the "Noboribetsu Onsen", and welcome customers who use the Expressway with a "heart of hospitality".

From 10:00: Flower planting in the flower bed under "Welcome Ogre Statue" (about 960 pansies)
10: 30 ~ Flower planting in Noboribetsu East IC flowerbed (daisy about 800 shares)

The "Flower and Green Peace Highway Garden R Project" is a "Highway Garden R" that aims to create a community-like atmosphere and collaborate with the community while aiming to transform it into a comfortable space that makes it easy to use rest facilities such as gardens. This project is being maintained and promoted to provide customers with a more relaxing and healing space.
The planting of flowers at Noboribetsu East IC will be conducted as part of this activity.
