NEXCO EAST Muroran Management Office (Muroran City) is collaborating with Date Elementary School, Otani Muroran High School, and social welfare corporation "Taiyo no Yuen". E5 Do-O Expressway (Dōhō-do) Flowers will be planted in the Usuzan Service Area (SA).

NEXCO EAST together with local people to create a relaxing space that is easy for customers to use and refreshed by using trees and flowers in SA, etc. "Flowers and Green Peace Highway" This is a part of the ^{"Garden ®} Project" and the "Kofuku Collaboration ^® "Large employment opportunities for people with disabilities by using the Expressway

What is "Flower and Green Peace Highway Garden ^® Project"?

Rest facility We will transform the garden into a comfortable space that is easy to use, and at the same time, ^{we will develop "Highway Garden ®}" aiming to create regional characteristics and cooperate with the region, and provide customers with a more relaxing and healing space. It is a project that we are promoting to do.

What is "Takafuku Collaboration ^®"?

NEXCO EAST, the efforts that "Expressway" and "welfare" are linked are called "takafuku (happiness) collaboration". We position this as a part of our CSR activities to address social issues through the Expressway business, and we will continue to work based on the concept of CSV.

* CSV (Creating Shared Value) is translated as "creating common value." Professor Michael Porter of Harvard University proposed as a new concept of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). The idea is to contribute to society not only through charitable social contribution activities, but also by simultaneously utilizing the strengths of the company to solve social issues and achieve growth for the company.
