NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) is an event aimed at learning the points of winter road driving and improving driving skills on Sunday, November 22, the last day of the winter traffic safety campaign week. "Winter Driving School in Sapporo Factory" will be held jointly with the Hokkaido Police.
This is the 8th time this event has been held, and you can receive advice on driving skills from professional drivers led by Kenjiro Shinozuka, who won the first overall victory in the Paris-Dakar Rally. This time, for the first time, participants will experience winter road driving with the latest driving simulator without using an actual vehicle.

  1. You can experience a simulated experience of driving on a winter road with a driving simulator and receive advice on driving skills from a professional driver.
  2. A talk show on traffic safety will be held by DJ Katsunori and Shinozuka, who are commissioned by the Hokkaido Police as "Traffic Safety Advisors".
  3. As a special stage, there will be talk shows and live music about safe driving by artists from Hokkaido.

  1. You can experience a simulated winter road driving with the Hokkaido Police truck-loaded simulator "Hokuto-go".
  2. You can experience riding on emergency vehicles such as police cars, sign cars, and NEXCO patrol cars.
