"Fukushima Sunflower Satochika Project" What is
In an activity aimed at supporting reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake, we purchased sunflower seeds from a welfare facility for people with disabilities in Fukushima Prefecture, sent the seeds harvested from the grown flowers to Fukushima, and symbolized the reconstruction at schools and companies in Fukushima. It is an effort to make the sunflowers bloom.
Today, it is widely implemented nationwide not only as reconstruction support, but also as part of children's education and corporate CSR.
