NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) "Hokkaido Highway Show Area® 2023 in Wattsu PA", September 23 (Sat/holiday) and 24 (Sun) 10:00-16:00 E5 It will be held at Do-O Expressway (Hokkaido Expressway) Wattsu Parking Area (PA) (Out-bound line, towards Sapporo).
At the venue, 9 organizations will set up 13 booths selling local gourmet and special products, and will promote the appeal of the region. In addition to the lottery where you can win local souvenirs, customers who purchase 500 yen or more including tax at the event booth or PA shop can challenge the sweets picking project.
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area®" is an event that conveys the charm of the region from rest facilities. As part of the promotion of tourism in Hokkaido, it has been held every year since 2013, attracting many visitors.

(2) "Working vehicle" exhibition

A patrol car of the Hokkaido police and a Expressway patrol car will be exhibited. In addition to hearing stories from the police regarding the fall national traffic safety campaign period, you can experience riding a patrol car and a patrol car and take a commemorative photo.

(3) Present plan for visitors

During the event, balloons will be given to the first 150 people each day. In addition, we will distribute "sweets grabbing" participation tickets that can participate in customers who have made purchases of 500 yen or more including tax at shops and event booths on the Wattsu PA (Out-bound line/Sapporo area).

(4) Introduction of NEXCO EAST initiatives

Panels will be displayed at the venue about NEXCO EAST 's initiatives, Doto Expressway four-lane project, the Hokkaido smartphone stamp rally, and the Hokkaido four-season photo contest. There will also be a fun lottery where you can win local souvenirs by answering quizzes about initiatives and quizzes about exhibiting groups at Highway ShowArea.

The NEXCO EAST Group positions the period from 2021 to 2025 as ``a period to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform toward a new future society'' and is engaged in various initiatives.
We believe that the implementation of the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area" this time will contribute to SDGs 8 and 17 as business activities that promote sustainable tourism and revitalize local communities.

NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office is a collaborative project between Hokkaido and the Hokkaido Tourism Promotion Organization with the aim of supporting the tourism industry in various parts of Hokkaido that was hit by the Large of the new coronavirus infection and recovering tourism demand. I am participating in a certain "HOKKAIDO LOVE! Project".

As a collaboration between "HOKKAI DO LOVE!" And NEXCO EAST, we have colored our corporate color, NEXCO Green. Based on the philosophy of this project, we will make efforts to enliven the tourism of our beloved Hokkaido.
