NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) will hold the Hokkaido Highway Show Area® 2025.
"Hokkaido Highway Show Area®" is an event that actively promotes "food and tourism" in various parts of Hokkaido from service areas and parking areas in cooperation with the local community. It is held every year as part of the promotion of tourism in Hokkaido, and various organizations promote the attractions of their regions by selling local gourmet food and specialty products and promoting the region.
This year, there will be a lot of fun events, including a raffle where you can win tickets to see the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, a talk show with Levanga Hokkaido GM Ryota Sakurai, and greetings with PR mascots from each region.
Furthermore, for the first time, the event will be held at Funka Bay Panorama Park and Sunagawa Highway Oasis, which will be accessible not only to Expressway users but also to local residents.

(1) Win tickets to the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters! Quiz rally and lottery
By answering a quiz and questionnaire about NEXCO EAST and exhibiting organizations, you will be able to participate in a raffle where you can win great prizes, including tickets to a Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters game (for the game on September 22nd).

(2) Traffic safety awareness campaigns
With the cooperation of the Hokkaido Prefectural Police Highway Patrol, we will be exhibiting Hokkaido Prefectural Police patrol cars and NEXCO EAST Traffic Management Unit patrol cars.
(3) Character Greetings
During the event, NEXCO EAST Manners Up Characters "Manati" and "Ikanzame" will be coming to play. Many other characters will also be coming to play at each venue, so be sure to take photos with them.
(4) Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally: “Event-Limited Stamps” Now Available!
If you hold your smartphone over the stamp booth in the venue, you can get an "event-limited stamp" from the "Hokkaido Smartphone Stamp Rally", an initiative of NEXCO EAST. If you get even one event-limited stamp, you can apply for the "Hokkaido Highway Show Area Award". Register here!
(5) Expressway SAPA sign capsule toy sales (excluding Funka Bay Panorama Park venue)
Expressway service area and parking area sign keychains are now available as capsule toys!
It costs 300 yen per time, so try to collect all the types.
(6) "AEON E-NEXCOpass Card" booth (excluding Sunagawa Highway Oasis venue)
An application booth for the "AEON E-NEXCOpass Card" will be set up.
If you join on the day, you will receive a free "NEXCO EAST original miniature car."

Customers who spend 500 yen or more (tax included) at the shops in Watatsu PA (Out-bound, Sapporo direction) or at the booths in the venue will receive a participation ticket for "cotton candy making." *250 people on a first-come, first-served basis each day
(3) “Tureppon” is coming to play!
In addition to the manatees and rock sharks, the Tureppon from the Foundation for Ainu Culture will be coming to visit. It will be walking around the venue, so if you see it, be sure to take a photo with it.
4. Funka Bay Panorama Park Venue

(3) "Iburi ONE-Jr." is coming to play!
In addition to the Manatee and the Rock Shark, Iburi ONE-Jr. from the Iburi Regional Development Bureau will be coming to visit. He will be walking around the venue, so if you see him, be sure to take a photo with him.
(4) Simultaneous live broadcast on three radio stations
On Saturday, July 12th, from 10:00 to 13:00, the event will be broadcast live on three radio stations simultaneously: FM View (Muroran City), FM Iruka (Hakodate City), and wi-radio (Date City). (The event will cover the event and promote the booths.)
(5) Enjoy the Bear Festival with Levanga Hokkaido GM Sakurai ~ Did you know that Yakumo Town is the birthplace of wooden carved bears? ~
Bear Festival
This event will be held in collaboration with the Bear Festival, an event that promotes the charm of Yakumo's wooden bear carvings. In addition to the wooden bear carving exhibition, sales booths, and workshops, there will also be a two-day limited event called the Goshukuma-in MAP, a wooden bear stamp rally that will take you around Yakumo town.

On Sunday, July 13th from 13:00 to 14:00, a talk show on bear woodcarving will be held on the special stage inside the Panorama Hall with Levanga Hokkaido general manager Ryota Sakurai, Misaki Tamura, editor and author of the book "Opening! An Introduction to Woodcarved Bears," and Chizuru Aonuma, owner of "Kodamado Woodcarved Bear and Book Store."

We will be holding a "Highway Kids Oasis" where you can experience "reflex games," "Manatee paper visor coloring," and "cotton candy making." This is an event that the whole family can enjoy, so please come and visit us.

NEXCO EAST Group is taking on various initiatives to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and bring about change for a new future society.
We believe that the Hokkaido Highway Show Area will contribute to SDGs 8 and 17 as a business activity that promotes sustainable tourism and revitalizes local communities.
NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office is a collaborative project between Hokkaido and the Hokkaido Tourism Promotion Organization with the aim of supporting the tourism industry in various parts of Hokkaido that was hit by the Large of the new coronavirus infection and recovering tourism demand. I am participating in a certain "HOKKAIDO LOVE! Project".
As a collaboration between "NEXCO EAST NEXCO!" Based on the philosophy of this project, we will make efforts to boost tourism in our beloved Hokkaido.
