NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) has compiled traffic conditions in Hokkaido during the Obon period [Thursday, August 7th, 2025 to Sunday, August 17th, 2025: 11 days] and would like to inform you of this.
- Average daily traffic volume was 101% compared to the same period last year.
- There were 13 traffic jams of over 1 km, which was 9 fewer than the same period last year.
- There was one traffic jam of over 10km, one less than the same period last year.
- 最大の渋滞長は、8月8日（金）8時30分、E5道央道 大谷地インターチェンジ（IC）→輪厚スマートIC（上り・苫小牧方面）で、事故及び交通集中が原因で発生した10.8kmでした。
