NEXCO東日本北海道支社（札幌市厚別区）は、E5道央自動車道（道央道） 札幌南本線料金所（上り線・苫小牧方面）において、北海道警察・北海道運輸局との3機関による合同取り締まりを実施しました。
本取り締まりでは、車両制限令違反や道路交通法・道路運送車両法違反の一斉取り締まりや車両脱輪防止の啓発、「トラック・物流Gメン※」によるトラックドライバーへの聞き取りを計13台に対して実施しました。

[Today's joint crackdown]
From the perspective of preventing traffic accidents and maintaining roads, we have been working with relevant agencies to crack down on vehicles that violate regulations. However, traffic accidents caused by cargo falling from vehicles that are not suitable for loading, and damage to road surfaces and road structures caused by vehicles that violate the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance, remain major social problems.
By working together with relevant organizations to create a safe and secure Expressway environment, we hope to widely publicize this initiative and prevent and deter future violations of laws and regulations.
2. Our efforts
道路法の政令である車両制限令で定められた重量・幅・長さ・高さ・最小回転半径の最高限度（一般的制限値・右図参照）を超過する車両が道路を走行することは、原則的に禁止されており、車両制限令に違反する車両が道路を走行すると、道路の損壊・劣化や交通事故の発生につながる恐れがあります。（注1）
これらの事態により、走行中のお客さまの安全・安心が脅かされるのを防ぐため、NEXCO東日本は、「車限隊」（注2）を組織し、日頃から車両制限令違反車両に対する取り締まりを行っています。また、車両制限令違反を繰り返し行った「大口・多頻度割引制度」（注3）の契約者に対しては、割引の停止措置などを行います。

If you are forced to drive a vehicle that exceeds the maximum weight and dimensions set by the Vehicle Restrictions Ordinance, you must obtain a special vehicle passage permit from the road administrator in advance.
(Note 2)
This refers to the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance Violation Enforcement Unit organized by NEXCO EAST. It is an organization made up of "road supervisors" designated by road administrators in accordance with the Road Act, and has the authority to stop violations of the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance and to order the suspension of the passage of vehicles with unsuitable loads.

This is a measure implemented by the three NEXCO companies for customers who use Expressway frequently, and by signing up for a large-volume/high-frequency discount contract, customers can receive discounts on tolls for Expressway managed by the three NEXCO companies.
-From the corps to truck drivers-
We would like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation in our enforcement activities. While we have heard from drivers at enforcement sites that awareness of the Vehicle Restriction Order and the Special Vehicle Permit System is improving, we still see a certain number of violations of the law.
Violating the Vehicle Restriction Ordinance is a very dangerous act that not only damages the road but also threatens the safety of the driver. In order to realize a safe and secure Expressway, it is necessary for everyone to comply with the law even more when using Expressway.
