NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) and Shin-Sapporo Driving School (Nishinosato, Kitahiroshima) will be holding the Winter Road Safety Driving Seminar again this year to improve driving skills on winter roads as a traffic safety measure during the winter when accidents tend to increase.
This workshop, which was well-received and attended by many people last year, will feature experienced instructors from Shin-Sapporo Driving School, as well as professional drivers active in Hokkaido, who will provide gentle and thorough lectures on winter road steering and braking techniques. In addition, the Hokkaido Prefectural Police's Atsubetsu Police Station and Expressway Traffic Police Unit will each give talks on winter road safety on both public roads and Expressway, making for a comprehensive program.
We welcome 　participation from beginners and those unfamiliar with driving on winter roads!

Classroom training (talk session with guest pro drivers and instructors from Shin-Sapporo Driving School)

Practical training (driving on the on-site course, igniting flares, and escaping from a stuck vehicle)

Winter road safe driving course completion certificate issued

Four. content

• In addition to instructors from Shin-Sapporo Driving Academy, guest professional drivers Katsumi Muraoka and Masato Sekine will ride in the training vehicle driven by the participants and give lectures on steering and braking tips on winter roads.
• Lectures such as a flame canister ignition experience, tips for getting stuck, and other special projects are also planned.

5. Notes
   
   • During the practical training, you will use training cars from Shin-Sapporo Driving School.
     Please note that you cannot participate in the tour in your own car.
   • Please be sure to bring your driver's license because it is a condition that you have a normal driver's license or higher.
   • Practical training sessions with an instructor or guest professional driver will last approximately 10 minutes per person.
   • The content may be changed or the event may be canceled depending on the weather and course conditions.
