- Expressway traffic conditions during the year-end and New Year period (preliminary report) [Hokkaido version]

NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo) has compiled traffic conditions in Hokkaido for the New Year's holiday period [Friday, December 26, 2025 to Sunday, January 4, 2026: 10 days], and would like to inform you of this.
- Average daily traffic volume was 104% compared to the same period last year.
- There were seven traffic jams of over 1 km in length, which was nine times less than the same period last year.
- The longest traffic jam length was 9.0 km at 4:25 pm on Friday, January 2nd, starting near Yubari IC on the E38 Doto Expressway (In-bound, towards Sapporo) due to road closures and traffic congestion caused by an accident.
