NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Doto Expressway) will implement nighttime road closures in September 2026 on the E38 Doto Expressway and the E5A Shiribeshi Expressway SHIRIBESHI EXPRESSWAY to road surface repair and maintenance work.
When you go out, please leave with plenty of time to spare and use alternative routes.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the necessary construction and work to ensure the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

1. 1. Closed section and date and time

• None of these services will be operated on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Furthermore, the reserve day for the section of Doto Expressway between Yubari IC and Shimukappu IC will not be operated on September 18th (Friday).
• In the event of bad weather, the event may be postponed to a backup date.
• Please refer to the flyer (Documents 1-2 [PDF: 1.4MB]) for alternative routes.

2. Main construction contents

• Road repair work...
  Repairs will be made to areas where cracks or unevenness in the pavement are evident.
• Maintenance and repair work...
  We inspect and repair various facilities and drainage systems installed inside tunnels and other areas.
