East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Kanto Regional Head Office is working to repair Oizumi viaduct between Kan-Etsu Expressway Nerima Interchange (IC) and Niiza Main Line Toll Gate to provide better Expressway. Do the following:
With the implementation of this construction, two lanes will be regulated at night, so one lane will be used during construction. Please check the traffic information and regulations on the website in advance, and make sure you have enough time to go out.

- The period may be extended depending on the progress of construction due to stormy weather.
2 Construction outline and features
- In this repair work for the Oizumi Viaduct, joints are replaced and removed to improve the roadside environment (reduce noise and vibration) and improve running performance.
- In this work, it is necessary to carry out the work from "pavement removal, floor slab hangers, expansion device removal, concrete placing, curing, pavement restoration" in succession. In addition, because the roadside of the construction site is in the residential area, the working hours are set so that the "floor hangers" that generate construction noise do not occur at midnight.
3 Congestion forecast associated with construction
During the construction period, from 18:00 to 23:00 when traffic volume is high, it is expected that congestion will occur on the In-bound line up to about 3 km and on the Out-bound line up to about 2 km.
