Due to stormy weather, we will postpone at 11:28 (Tue) to 30 (Thu) at the same time at night
3 nights from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (10 hours)

2. Construction overview

Joshin-Etsu Expressway As a safety measure for Sarah JCT, we will carry out construction such as improvement of concrete protection fences and fall prevention fences, construction of high-performance pavement, and addition of signs and gaze guidance equipment. For some types of work in this construction, it is necessary to close the communication path of the Out-bound line (from Saku direction to Nagano direction). When closing the connecting road, we will select nighttime hours when there will be no traffic congestion so that the impact on customers will be minimized, and we will guide you to the detours so that you will not be obstructed to travel toward Nagano.

You can use it from Saku area to Nagano area by turning around in front of the Sarah Interchange (IC) toll booth adjacent to the Sarah JCT (guided by staff). This will increase the mileage by about 2 km and the travel time by about 5 minutes. Also, there is no additional charge for the detour.
