NEXCO EAST Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Director: Takashi Sato) allows customers to pass safely on the following sections of the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, Shin-Kuko Expressway, and Keiyo Road even when the road surface freezes or snow falls. As a whole, the office has established a snow and ice countermeasure period (December 1, 2006-March 31, 2007) to carry out snow and ice countermeasures such as snow removal.
We would like to inform you that at the beginning of the snow and ice countermeasure period, the personnel involved in the snow and ice countermeasure work will be dispatched as follows.

4. Implementation details
Approximately 50 people involved in snow and ice work and about 15 snow and ice work vehicles will gather to hold a ceremony to pray for safety during the snow and ice work period.
- Snow and ice traffic safety prayer 10:00 to 10:50
- Snow and ice countermeasure work vehicle departure ceremony 10:50~11:00
