NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office length: Hirozo Saeki) and Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. (Ota-ku, Tokyo, President: Aono Toshihito) December 31, 2006 (Sunday) afternoon of New Year's Eve The "2006-2007 Countdown Special in Umihotaru" will be held from 11:00 to January 1, 2007 (Monday, National Holiday).
This event is the first event to be held on December 18, 2007 (Tuesday) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anniversary of the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway anniversary year. At midnight (planned), hundreds of fireworks celebrating the New Year will be launched over Tokyo Bay, and at around 6:50 am, you can enjoy the first sunrise you want from the middle of Tokyo Bay. From 11:00 pm to 1:00 am the next day, Ed Yamaguchi & Tokyo Ventures' "New Year's End Electric Sound Live", "Countdown Ceremony in Umihotaru" where one couple exchange rings, and the New Year after the countdown are lively celebrated We will hold three events of "New Year launch fireworks performance".

About the "Aqualine Thanks to You 10th Anniversary" event
An event to be held throughout 2007 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway. With the cooperation of tourism associations in Chiba and Kanagawa prefectures, we will hold various events such as product exhibitions that are united with the community at Umihotaru PA, changing the theme of the event every month. Above all, we will hold various events focusing on the following four topics.
- Ken-O Road opening Kisarazu (tentative name) - Kisarazu JCT: 2006 fiscal year
- Opening Tateyama Road Kimitsu-Futtsu Chuo: 2007
- Umihotaru PA renovation: around summer 2007
