1 Construction overview

2 Detour

As shown in the figure below, the closed section of the Higashi-Kanto Expressway is between "Narita IC and Daiei IC", but you can also use Sakura IC and Daiei IC, which are well connected to National Road 51, as a detour. In this case, 26.6km between Sakura IC and Daiei IC could be passed in about 20 minutes by using the Expressway, whereas it takes 29km to take about 42 minutes to bypass Route 51.

If you want to make the shortest detour between Narita IC and Daiei IC, you will need to use Route 295 and Route 51. In this case, 11.7km between Narita IC and Daiei IC could be passed by Expressway in about 10 minutes, while it takes 17km and about 21 minutes by combining the detours of Route 295 and Route 51.

In either case, please make sure you have enough time to go out.

Please note that it is not possible to pass from the new airport IC to the direction of Itako. From National Highway 295, you will use the National Highway No. 51 at the Teradai Interchange.

3 Regarding connection fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
