NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office length: Shinichi Ishikawa), the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway assumes the occurrence of traffic accidents in the aqua tunnel, of the relevant organizations of mutual cooperation based on, a quick and accurate response In order to plan, we will carry out disaster prevention drills as follows.

(1) Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway In-bound Line (near the midpoint of Aqua Tunnel)
- Evacuation guidance and rescue training in the tunnel
⇒We will carry out information transmission and evacuation guidance training when a traffic accident occurs.
Lanes will be restricted during the training (scheduled from 8am to 11:30am).
(2) Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Umihotaru PA (Kawasaki side 1F deck)
- Rescue training from a bus assuming a tunnel
⇒We will conduct rescue training from the emergency door at the rear of the route bus. - Take-off and landing and transportation training with two doctor helicopters
⇒ After the rescue team confirms the seriously injured person, request the dispatch of a doctor helicopter, and carry out training to accommodate and transport the seriously injured person to the doctor helicopter landed at Umihotaru PA.
- When a doctor helicopter cannot fly due to weather conditions
⇒Rescue team conducts training to rescue severely injured persons.
