NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) is aimed at customers who are unfamiliar with snowy roads who come to Nagano due to winter leisure, etc. "Sudden" Snow Road Experience Drive Lesson, an event where you can experience the behavior of a car during brake operation, will be held at "Saku Ski Garden Parada," which is directly connected to the Joshin-Etsu Expressway Sakudaira Parking Area (PA).

Joshin-etsu Expressway Tomioka Interchange (IC)-Sakagi IC (about 85km) managed by the Saku Management Office is less than 50% during the snow and ice countermeasure period from November 15th, 2009 to April 15th, 2009. For 69 days, we carried out snow and ice countermeasures such as spraying antifreeze agents. Since the section in charge of management of our office is the entrance from the area with little snow to the area where snowy roads are likely to appear, we mainly target customers who are unfamiliar with snowy roads, visiting Nagano Prefecture for sightseeing and leisure purposes. The target is to appeal for "road safety on snowy roads."
