1. Scheduled cancellation of suspension of traffic (The following table shows the situation only within the jurisdiction of our Kanto Regional Head Office)

On March 19th at midnight, the sections in the table below will be closed. At the same time, the Kita Kanto Expressway between Kiryu Ota and Sanodanuma will be opened, allowing general passengers to pass.

2. Cancellation of emergency traffic route designation

It has been announced by the National Police Agency that the emergency traffic route designations for the sections in the table below will be canceled on March 19 at midnight.

3. About closure of rest facility

As for the Kasama parking area on the northern Kanto Expressway (to the east and to the west), damage to the water supply and buildings due to this earthquake has occurred until the repair is completed even after the cancellation of the Expressway main line suspension. The rest facility will be closed. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Four. Road damage and restoration status

In the Kanto Regional Head Office we are working hard to restore damaged areas, Aftershocks occur every day, causing new damage. We are also making every possible effort to restore new damaged areas.

Five. Emergency vehicle passage

Parallel on the Kita-Kanto Expressway between Ota Kiryu IC and Sanodauma IC, which is scheduled to open on Saturday, March 19th. There is also a situation where National Road No. 50 is more crowded than usual due to disaster recovery, etc. When an emergency vehicle is requested, we are able to drive.
