NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo), the following section, which had a great shaking, was closed due to the earthquake that occurred around 17:16 on Monday, April 11, 2011, and an emergency inspection is currently being conducted. I am.

2 Road damage status found to date

  • Joban Expressway Takahagi to Kitaibaraki (Out-bound) There is a vertical crack about 20 m long and about 3 cm wide
  • North Kanto Expressway Ibaraki Town West-Ibaraki Town East (Westbound) There is a transverse crack
  • North Kanto Expressway Ibaraki Town East to Mito South (Westbound) Longitudinal cracks with a length of about 10 m and a width of about 5 cm, many cracks, dents
  • Ken-O Road Tsukuba Ushiku IC (inside) There is a step of about 10 cm on the exit lamp
  • There was an error in the length and width of the vertical cracks from the east of Ibaraki-cho to the south of Mito (westbound) on the northern Kanto Expressway.
