NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) is working to bridge the Shisui IC (tentative name) currently under construction between the Sakura Interchange (IC) and Tomisato IC on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway (Higashi Kanto Expressway). We will carry out night traffic closures between ICs.

1 Night closed section and date and time
(1) Section Higashi Kanto Expressway line between Sakura IC and Narita IC (extension 14.9km)
(2) Date and time Monday, June 27, 2011 from 23:00 to 5:00 the next morning (6 hours)
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the same time zone from the next day. (Spare days 28th and 29th)
- In case of stormy weather, the decision of whether or not to close at night will be made at 16:00 on the day of the implementation.
- The Shisui Parking Area (PA) (upper and lower lines) will be closed from 22:00, one hour before the road starts closing.
2 Detour
If you use Expressway, the travel time between the Higashi Kanto Expressway Sakura IC and Narita IC (14.9km) is usually about 10 minutes, but you can take the detour route (17.7km) that goes through Route 51 and Route 295. If you use it, the time required will increase by about 15 minutes, so please take time to go out. For detailed detours, Attachment 1 [PDF: 209KB] Please refer to. Please note that it is not possible to go to the Tokyo area from the Shin-Airport IC, so use Route 51 from National Route 295 to Teradai Interchange.

3 Construction overview
Construction will be done to build a bridge at the intersection of the "Prefectural Road Tomisato Shisui Line," which is the access road to the Shisui IC (tentative name), with the East Kanto Road. In addition, we will also remove the overpass.
