NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) and Nexeria East Japan Nagano Branch (Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture) aim to increase chefs working at restaurants in the service area (SA) to develop menus and create unique restaurants. As part of the “Hana-zukuri” initiative, we will hold the “NEXCO EAST 6th New Menu Contest Nagano Block Preliminary Meeting” with the theme of “Enjoy everyone's smile and smile everyone”.

At the Nagano block qualifying event, six SA restaurants in Joshinetsu Expressway, Nagano Expressway Nagano and Gunma prefectures competed for a safe and secure special menu with carefully selected ingredients, utilizing the network in the East Japan region. One store selected for the highest award will challenge the final competition held in Tokyo next March.

"Enjoy everyone and make everyone smile"

The theme of this menu development was to utilize "East Japan" network and to develop "energy" and to "smile" with a safe and secure special menu with carefully selected ingredients.

5 conditions

(1) The works exhibited in the contest will be the menu for one person.
(2) The maximum selling price is 1,500 yen (tax included)
(3) In actual sales, we will also sell a small size menu

6 Examination method

The works of one store that won the highest award after undergoing a tasting examination by 7 people such as cooking experts and customer representatives will be exhibited at the final competition (held on March 22, 2012 (Thursday)).
