NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) is a Kuki Shiraoka junction where Tohoku Expressway (Tohoku Expressway) and Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) connect. 1 Night closed section and date and time

(1) Section

  • Tohoku Expressway Iwatsuki IC-Kuki IC (extension 15.0km)

  • In case of stormy weather, the decision to stop at night will be made at 14:00 on the day of the implementation.
  • Regarding Hasuda SA (upper and lower lines), it is not available from 20:00, one hour before the suspension of traffic.
    However, the Hasuda Smart IC can be used until the closing time.

2 Detour

If you use Expressway, the time between Tohoku Expressway Iwatsuki IC and Kuki IC (15.0km) is usually about 10 minutes, and between Iwatsuki IC and Kazo IC (22.9km) is usually It takes about 15 minutes, but the detour route between Iwatsuki IC and Kuki IC using prefectural road 3 is about 30 minutes, and the detour route between Iwatsuki IC and Kazo IC using national road 4 is about 55 minutes. 3 Construction overview

At Kuki Shiraoka JCT where Tohoku Expressway and Ken-O Road are connected, a large crane or large multi-axle trolley is used as a connecting bridge from the Tohoku Expressway Out-bound line to Ken-O Road Ibaraki. We will carry out construction work using it.
